Construction Update

We are thrilled to share the latest progress of Aqualuna at Bayside by Hines and Tridel. Last December marked a significant milestone with the dismantling of the tower cranes, indicating the completion of the building superstructure. Since then, substantial progress has been made, particularly with the building envelope, where the installation of curtain walls and window walls is on track to be completed in the next couple of weeks. Alongside this, the installation of balcony railings has begun, further contributing to the building's exterior aesthetics.

Elevator installation is progressing well in the South tower and is soon scheduled to commence in the North tower. Interior work is moving forward efficiently, with carpentry, flooring, kitchen installations, countertops, and painting activities advancing in sequence between Levels 5 and 6.

In addition to the residential spaces, the East Bayfront Community Centre, occupying parts of the ground and second floors, is progressing well. The Centre is set to be turned over to the City of Toronto next year and will serve as a central community hub for residents and locals alike.

To minimize the impact on the surrounding community, we have implemented several control measures to reduce traffic disruptions, dust, and noise levels during the ongoing construction.
