We’ve come a long way since Jack DelZotto, the founder of our company built our first home in 1934. We think it’s important we introduce you to Jack because his strong belief in family, home and community is the bedrock for our entire organization.
A True Innovator
Angelo DelZotto, Jack’s eldest son, was ahead of his time and a true innovator, who built our first apartment complex in 1961, the forerunner of today’s modern condominium. In 1969, Tridel built their first condominium at Arbour Glen in Oakville.

What’s In A Name
Our name comes from our founder Jack DelZotto whose three sons, Angelo, Elvio, and Leo, put the “tri” in Tridel and in the triangle that symbolizes both our unity and strength.
About the "D" Symbol
Our iconic “D” is embedded in each of the Tridel Group of Company logos. It is a powerful image that reinforces the integrity of our ‘Built for Life® brand which is not just a basic trademark but rather a “trustmark“ that inspires our employees and customers to the larger brand promise of the Tridel community.
