Construction Update - October 2025

Construction at Queen Church is progressing as our team continues laying the foundation for this upcoming downtown residence.

Formwork is currently underway on the P2 level of the underground structure. With Foundation, Drainage, and Plumbing Permits secured, we’ve reached an important milestone in forming the base of the community. We anticipate receiving the Above Grade Super Structure Permit later this year, which will allow us to move above grade and begin vertical construction. Soon, Queen Church will begin to rise and take shape as a new addition to Toronto’s skyline.

To safely accommodate construction, the City of Toronto has approved a temporary closure of the southbound lane and west sidewalk of Dalhousie Street, from Queen Street partway up the block. This closure is in place from September 19, 2025 to September 30, 2028.
