Construction Update - May 2025

With the concrete structure now complete and both cranes dismantled earlier this year, The Dupont continues to make steady progress toward completion. Since receiving the full building permit last year, interior and exterior work has advanced significantly, bringing us one step closer to welcoming future homeowners.

On the exterior, precast installation for the building envelope was completed in April, with window completion soon to follow in June. Streetscape enhancements and landscaping are expected to begin in spring/summer 2025, with construction of the Dupont-Shaw Parkette scheduled to start this May.

Inside, in-suite drywall, mechanical, and electrical rough-in work are well underway. Suite corridor and demising wall finishes continue to progress on the seventh floor. In the lobby and amenity spaces, preparations for drywall boarding (lobby) and electrical rough-ins (amenities) have begun. These key areas will soon take shape with sophisticated design details, curated lighting, and warm, welcoming finishes that reflect the modern elegance of The Dupont.

While construction disruptions are expected to be minimal, temporary road closures along Dupont Street may be required later in 2025 to accommodate park construction, streetscaping, and streetlight work. All proactive measures remain in effect to manage dust and minimize noise.
