Construction Update

The full concrete structure was completed in Q3 2024, which marked the official "top-off" of the community. Work on the building envelope, including precast installations and window installations, is progressing well, with completion anticipated sometime in the first half of 2025. The cranes are tentatively scheduled for dismantling between Q4 2024 and Q1 2025.

Following the receipt of the full building permit in July 2024, construction activities are now focused on interior finishing and exterior details. On the ground floor, stud framing began in June 2024, while framing for exterior walls is actively progressing on the third floor. In-suite demising walls and corridor work are underway on the second floor.

While construction disruptions are expected to be minimal moving forward, some activities may cause temporary inconveniences. With major building utilities already completed, disruptions related to water and hydro are unlikely, though future hydro utility work for the park could necessitate road closures along Dupont later this year. Dust control measures will continue to mitigate impact, and noise levels will be managed to minimize disruptions.

Looking ahead, park construction is set to commence early next year, with streetscaping tentatively planned for spring/summer 2025. Be sure to check back on this page for more news and updates about construction progress at The Dupont.
