Construction Update - June 2025

At Westerly 1, the crane is scheduled to be removed in the next few weeks. A majority of the precast has been completed and windows are now installed up to 15th floor, with the exception of the area where the hoist is currently located. Once the crane and hoist are removed, cladding in that section will be finalized. Inside, suite framing has reached the 7th floor, drywall taping is ongoing on the 4th floor, and painting (priming) is advancing on the 3rd. Tile dry-pack is in progress on the 5th floor, while trim carpentry has begun on the 10th with blocking installation in the corridors. Kitchens on the 6th floor are now ready for measurement and fabrication, and the first kitchen delivery on the 2nd floor is scheduled for next week.

At Westerly 2, exterior work is also progressing well. Streetscape and lane closure permits have been secured, allowing for the removal of site hoarding and commencement of landscaping. One lane along Central Park Roadway remains closed as curbs, sidewalks, and tree planting are installed. In the rear outdoor amenity area, work is progressing well with the installation of curbs, walkways, pavers, and trees. Inside the tower, suite finishing continues: framing has reached the 19th floor, drywall taping is active between floors 18 and 20, and priming has moved up to floors 15 and 16. Tile installation is in progress on the 14th floor, trim carpentry on the 15th, and kitchens are being installed on the 12th. Lobby work has also begun, with drywall, primer, and tile now in place, and the feature staircase and upper lobby dry-pack is well underway.

Please note that one lane on Central Park Roadway remains closed to accommodate ongoing streetscape work.

Westerly is coming to life, and with each passing day, we’re one step closer to welcoming residents home. Stay tuned for more updates as construction continues.
