Construction Update - February 2025

As we get closer to welcoming residents to their new home later this year, the team at MRKT Alexandra Park is working hard to bring this vibrant community to life and we’re excited to share a glimpse of what’s happening on-site.

On the 14th floor, the exterior walls are being boarded, and we’re about to start working on the ceiling. Just below, the team is busy working on the mechanical and electrical rough-ins on the 13th floor. Drywall installations are now complete to the 12th floor, and the 11th floor is being smoothed out and prepped for painting. Balcony railings are also being installed from the 11th to the 14th floors, adding an aesthetic touch to MRKT’s exterior.

On the lower floors of the building, the focus shifts to more detailed finishing. The 10th floor now has its ceiling smoothing finished, and on the 9th floor, the team is working on custom woodwork and trim. From the 8th floor down, tiling is being installed in the bathrooms, countertops are going in, kitchens are being installed, and beautiful hardwood floors are being laid - all the finishing touches that make these spaces feel complete and move-in ready.

The building’s shared amenity spaces, like the party room and fitness centre, are also coming together nicely. Work on the ceilings and electrical systems is underway, and the streetscaping work has commenced outside, soon to make the surrounding area even more welcoming for residents and visitors alike.
