Tridel Scores Double Win at OHBA Awards

At the 31st Ontario Home Builders' Association (OHBA) Awards of Distinction, held September 19th in Collingwood, Tridel proudly came away with two accolades, including High or Mid-Rise Green Building for Aquabella together with Hines and Best Logo for Harbourwalk.

Hines and Tridel's Aquabella Shines with Green Building Excellence

The OHBA’s inaugural High or Mid-Rise Green Building Award shines a spotlight on Aquabella at Bayside, one of our most innovative and remarkable communities built together with Hines. This recognition reinforces our unwavering commitment to sustainable design and construction practices. Aquabella is the third community at Bayside Toronto to achieve the LEED Platinum Certification, behind Aqualina and Aquavista. During the planning and construction of Aquabella, we worked diligently to ensure that sustainability measures were always at the forefront of our activities. For example, we used locally sourced and recycled construction materials that reduced unnecessary waste and installed variable refrigerant flow units that optimize efficiency and lower carbon emissions by moving heat around a building’s footprint as needed.
